Founded by Talha bin Asad of Batch 22, Scribes is a student run writing team that is responsible for writing the GIKI official newsletter and the student created magazine ‘Horizon’. Scribes was initiated with a primary goal in mind which was to cater to the creative side of engineering students in the form of writing and to provide a platform for them to manifest it into something special. It is only fitting that the students provide a means of representation of our institute, other than the yearly prospectus which we, as students believe doesn’t do the institute justice from the students’ perspective. We at scribes believe that we are more than just engineers and should be represented as such.
